May 14, 10 am – A History Walk through Memorial Park – a short stroll through the park with Ginny Kurshan and Susan Newberry to learn about the history of our landmarked park. Meet at the corner of Oakview and Valley St.
DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED:
May – The unveiling of our latest project, the Flagpole Hill entryway triangle, and the celebration of the 200th birthday of Frederick Law Olmsted, father of the Olmsted Brothers, one of the park’s designers.
June – Pop-up Demonstration Project along the Valley St border across from Town Hall. A path on the perimeter of the park along Valley between Oakview and the tennis courts would complete the interior walkway through the park. What do you think of the idea? We will be setting up a temporary “path” to get your input
